It has been so difficult to think of something that would come even close to what Dr Omaia deserves! Finally, we have purchased a personalized mirrored box, just a small memento insha'Allah. The real gift will be inside. What is it you ask? Well, insha'Allah inside she will find a note giving her glad tidings that we, the CEP Staff, have sponsored a - sunday school aged :) - child on her behalf. A beautiful gift insha'Allah, beneficial in the best way to not only her but to us! Muhahahaha, double/triple gift!
We're about $100 into sponsoring a child. The total for one year is at least $516 dollars, sooo we're $416 short...
I think this is a much, much different gift intention than what was discussed when collecting funds initially and therefore I am emailing again to see if anyone would like to contribute more in order for us to reach this blessed goal. Worse case, we'll do a general donation but it would be very beautiful if we could pull this off insha'Allah. We have a huge staff, over 30 people masha'Allah - $20 to $30 is all it takes and we all get a share in the full ajar insha'Allah. PLUS Dr Omaia is sure to have a smile on her face and make dua for us - yes, totally selfish and totally worth it!
